Noss and Zakuro

Nestled between the realm of the living and the afterlife lies Shadowsville, a supernatural haven where an unconventional pair of vampires makes their home. Despite their fearsome lineage, the elegant Nosferatu known as Noss and her adopted daughter, Zakuro, are far from terrifying. In fact, they have entirely abandoned the practice of drinking human blood, viewing it as both cruel and unappealing. Instead, the two sustain themselves on a harmless, juice-like substitute that perfectly satisfies their needs without causing harm to anyone. Free from the burdens of traditional vampiric instincts, Noss and Zakuro spend their days enjoying a peaceful, domestic life together. Their routine involves strolling through the town's shops in search of stylish accessories to shield them from the sun, socializing with a colorful cast of fellow monsters, and simply cherishing each other's company. Through every shared errand and quiet moment, they support one another with the genuine warmth and devotion of a true mother and daughter. Ultimately, their story is a heartwarming exploration of found family, proving that when you discover the right substitute for your darkest cravings, love and companionship become far more important than blood.
