Behind the Scandal

Unlike his best friend Dowoon, Chan has always preferred to remain in the background. Ever since they relocated from the United States, Dowoon’s striking looks and towering height have effortlessly drawn attention wherever he goes. It is hardly surprising that Chan fell for him at first sight, though he has carefully guarded those romantic feelings in secret since their high school days. Everything shifts unexpectedly when Dowoon suddenly asks Chan to be his boyfriend. Caught completely off guard, Chan attempts to brush the confession aside as a joke, yet he finds himself unable to stop dwelling on the words. His confusion only deepens later that very same day when he stumbles upon a news article claiming Dowoon is romantically involved with another woman entirely. Now left reeling from the whiplash of mixed signals, Chan is forced to question everything he thought he knew about his closest friend. Was Dowoon genuinely serious about his sudden proposal, or was it nothing more than a cruel prank designed to toy with his emotions? As rumors swirl and hidden motives come into play, Chan must unravel the truth hiding behind the scandal.
