Governess of a Tyrant

An avid reader deeply engrossed in her latest literary obsession, a novel titled *Death Of The Evil Duke Gerald*, Ann finds herself captivated by the story’s infamous antagonist. Duke Gerald is universally despised for his sheer cruelty, yet as Ann immerses herself further into the narrative, she begins to question whether his tragic downfall might have been prevented had he not suffered the devastating loss of his loved ones. Shaking off these contemplative thoughts, she accepts that the predetermined ending of the story is completely beyond her control—at least, until she is suddenly transported directly into the universe of the novel. Upon her arrival, Ann is confronted with a high-stakes ultimatum: she is given a strict limit of ninety days to alter the duke’s grim fate. Should she fail to successfully guide him away from his destruction within this timeframe, the consequences will be absolute, leaving her trapped and unable to ever return to her own world.
