Yes, My Boss!

Despite her success as a popular webtoon artist, Ilene Jung finds herself taking on an unexpected second job: a tedious desk position under the tyrannical supervision of Jim Kang. Known as the harshest manager imaginable, Jim makes Ilene’s professional life miserable from the very beginning. He openly insults her work, refuses to offer any guidance, and even forces her to stay late on her first day, causing her to miss a crucial appointment. The situation takes a bizarre turn when Jim unknowingly applies for a position as an assistant to a webtoon creator, only to discover that the artist in question is Ilene herself. Bound by a begrudging twist of fate, she decides to hire him, thrusting them into an unconventional dual working relationship that spans both their corporate office and her home studio. As they navigate this strange dynamic across two entirely different workplaces, tensions inevitably rise. The arrangement raises compelling questions about Ilene’s hidden reasons for working a mundane desk job despite her artistic fame, how long either of them can endure this chaotic setup, and who truly holds the power in their complicated lives.
