Summary

Official Details
Legend holds that salamanders lose all memory of their past when exposed to polluted waters. This one-shot follows a lone salamander that awakens deep within the labyrinthine tunnels of a city sewer, its mind entirely wiped clean. Stripped of its history and feeling profoundly out of place, the creature experiences its existence as though it has been reborn into an entirely different form of life. With no recollection of where it came from or what it once was, the salamander is left to navigate the dark, damp corridors of its subterranean world alone. Over time, the amnesiac creature gradually adapts to the harsh conditions of its new habitat, establishing a quiet routine in the shadows beneath the city. The sewers become its undisputed domain, a familiar refuge where it learns to survive without the burden of memory. However, this fragile sense of normalcy is abruptly shattered when an incomprehensible object suddenly materializes within the tunnels. Unrecognizable and deeply alien to the salamander’s limited understanding of its environment, the mysterious anomaly disrupts the stillness of the underground world, forcing the creature to confront something far beyond its newly formed reality.
