Naru is a twenty-something young man stepping into the bewildering landscape of modern romance for the very first time. Having never been on a date and lacking even basic familiarity with mobile phones, he finds himself entirely out of his depth. Every interaction becomes a source of anxiety as he wrestles with the universal dilemmas of contemporary courtship—agonizing over whether to include an emoji in a message or panicking when a reply takes too long to arrive. For someone so inexperienced, simply navigating the unspoken rules of texting and dating feels like an insurmountable challenge. However, Naru’s struggle to understand relationships is not merely a matter of personal inexperience. Just as he begins to fumble his way through this confusing new world, a far more pressing threat emerges. Someone out there is actively working against him, deliberately orchestrating efforts to sabotage his budding romantic life. What starts as an awkward journey of self-discovery quickly escalates into a battle against unseen interference. Now, Naru must overcome his technological shortcomings and total lack of experience while simultaneously uncovering who is trying to ruin his chances at love before they are even given the opportunity to begin.
