Imaginary

During his childhood, Tasuku carried a quiet secret: he was deeply in love with his close friend, Maika. Before he could ever summon the courage to confess his feelings, she relocated to attend school elsewhere, leaving their bond suspended in time. Now fully grown adults, the two have unexpectedly rekindled their friendship. Spending time together once again awakens a flood of shared memories, forcing them to navigate the lingering emotions of their youth alongside the realities of their present lives. As children, it felt effortless to indulge in wild, unrestrained fantasies about the world and each other. However, adulthood introduces a new complexity to their imaginations, raising the question of what desires and daydreams occupy their minds now. The boundary between nostalgic affection and mature longing begins to blur as they spend more time together. Distinguished by its inventive storytelling and striking artwork, this romantic drama delves into the extraordinary moments concealed within ordinary life. It thoughtfully examines how a vivid inner world and unspoken emotions can ultimately serve as a compass, guiding two people toward an unexpected and transformative future.
