The Full-Time Wife Escapist

After graduating with an advanced degree, Mikuri Moriyama finds herself facing a bleak employment landscape. Despite her education, the only work she can secure is a temporary position that ultimately ends in termination. Concerned about his daughter’s uncertain future, her father intervenes by arranging for her to work as a housekeeper for Tsuzaki, a former colleague of his. This new arrangement initially offers Mikuri a sense of stability and purpose as she settles into her domestic responsibilities. However, this fragile equilibrium is soon threatened when her parents announce their plans to relocate to the countryside. Faced with the prospect of moving alongside them—which would likely result in permanent unemployment—or staying behind without sufficient funds to rent her own apartment, Mikuri finds herself trapped in an impossible dilemma. With no viable options left and her livelihood hanging in the balance, her naturally imaginative mind devises an entirely unexpected solution to secure her independence and resolve her financial crisis.
