Official Details
Regis is a soldier in name only. Lacking any skill with a sword or bow, he spends his days buried in books rather than training for battle. After being transferred to a desolate frontier region, he encounters a remarkable young girl who will change the course of his life: Princess Altina. With her striking crimson eyes and fiery red hair, she wields the legendary blade of the supreme ruler. Despite being only fourteen years old, she has been appointed as the commander of this remote army—a political exile disguised as a military assignment, handed down solely because she is the Emperor's illegitimate child. Yet Altina refuses to let her harsh circumstances crush her spirit. Instead of succumbing to despair, she clings fiercely to an ambitious dream that far outshines her current station. Recognizing Regis's brilliant mind, she seeks him out to serve as her personal tactician. Bound by her unwavering resolve, the bookish soldier steps forward to face the daunting obstacles standing in their path alongside her. Together, the bibliophile boy and the princess bearing the supreme ruler's sword weave a sweeping military fantasy of ambition, strategy, and survival against all odds.
