Official Details
Yamato has spent his entire life preparing for a single purpose: becoming a monster hunter. Ever since childhood, he has looked up to Kuja, a legendary figure who serves as his ultimate idol and inspiration. Driven by the dream of one day standing on equal footing with his hero, Yamato finally departs from his home village to seek out quests and prove his worth in the wider world. He does not embark on this ambitious journey alone. By his side is Mui, a close childhood friend who shares in his adventure, as well as Prof, a seasoned veteran who once fought alongside Kuja himself. Together, this unlikely trio sets out to take on the challenges that await beyond their quiet hometown. However, the romanticized vision Yamato held of a hunter’s life quickly shatters upon contact with reality. As they venture further into their endeavors, he comes to a sobering realization: the true demands, dangers, and hardships of being a monster hunter far exceed anything he had ever imagined during his years of training.
