Wootan to Fumi

Fumi is a novelist who has harbored deep romantic feelings for his childhood friend, Woo-tan, since they were young. Despite Woo-tan’s consistently candid and effortlessly cool demeanor—a trait he has carried with him since their early days—he possesses a peculiar secret. Once every month, he inexplicably sprouts rabbit ears. During these unusual episodes, Woo-tan retreats to Fumi’s home to rest and recover in peace. Over the years, Woo-tan has grown into an undeniably attractive figure, making it increasingly difficult for Fumi to conceal his intense emotions. To cope with his overwhelming desire, Fumi channeled his longing into his profession, using his creative work as a means to sublimate his feelings. Writing novels became his emotional outlet, allowing him to pour his unspoken affection into his stories rather than confessing outright. However, the boundaries between Fumi's carefully managed restraint and his true feelings begin to blur when an unexpected shift occurs in their relationship. What started as a monthly refuge during Woo-tan's strange transformations gradually evolves, leading the two men to unexpectedly begin living together under the same roof. As their domestic life intertwines, Fumi must navigate the delicate balance between his hidden desires and their newfound shared reality.
