Sakana no Miru Yume

Following the death of their mother, sisters Tomoe and Mikage have been left to rely almost entirely on one another. The elder sibling, Tomoe, is fiercely dedicated to her academics, pouring her energy into securing a place at a prestigious university. However, her focus is frequently disrupted by Mikage’s unpredictable behavior. Early in the story, Mikage secretly fastens a collar around her older sister's neck, compelling Tomoe to endure an entire day wearing it. This unsettling act hints at a deeper truth: Mikage demands Tomoe’s undivided attention, harboring an attachment that blurs the boundaries of familial affection. Despite their intense bond at home, the sisters navigate separate social worlds during the day. While attending their respective schools, Mikage forms a connection with a new female friend who develops a profound romantic infatuation with her. Though both girls lead distinct lives outside the house, the complicated dynamic they share behind closed doors remains the undeniable center of their existence. As external relationships threaten to pull them apart, Tomoe and Mikage must confront the reality that their intertwined lives and evolving connection may ultimately matter more than anything else.
