K: Lost Small World

Adapted from the novel of the same name by GoRA and GoHands, the original creators of the K franchise, K: Lost Small World explores the formative years of two central figures before the events of the main series. The story delves into the complex history shared by Misaki Yata and Saruhiko Fushimi, tracing the origins of their relationship and the circumstances that ultimately drove them apart. The narrative focuses on how these two young men first crossed paths, forging a deep bond during a turbulent period of their lives. As they navigate their youth together, their connection is tested by shifting allegiances and personal convictions. The manga chronicles both the beginning of their friendship and the painful divergence that eventually places them on opposing sides, offering crucial context for their dynamic in the broader K universe. This adaptation brings the prequel novel to life through the artwork of Yoru Okita, whose illustrations capture the emotional weight and intensity of Yata and Fushimi’s intertwined past. By expanding upon their early encounters and eventual separation, the series provides fans with a richer understanding of the characters' motivations and the fractured loyalty that defines them.
