Vanilla Spider

Six months ago, a colossal spiderweb materialized across the sky. After an initial wave of media frenzy, the phenomenon faded into the background as nothing immediately threatening occurred, and society simply resumed its daily routines beneath the strange canopy. Amedome Tsutsuji is one such ordinary student navigating life under the web, though his existence borders on invisible. D믭 "Ninja" by his classmates for his uncanny ability to go unnoticed, he is so imperceptible that even automatic doors fail to register his presence. However, this invisibility masks a terrifying reality only he can perceive: extraterrestrial creatures are descending from the web, hijacking human bodies, and devouring people. Driven by this hidden crisis, Tsutsuji uses his remarkable stealth to secretly shadow his crush, Mizuno, on her walk home from school. While it resembles stalking, his intentions are purely protective, ensuring he is ready to intervene when the parasitic aliens strike. To bolster his chances, he forms an unlikely alliance with Tsuda, a benevolent alien who equips him with a surprisingly formidable weapon—a faucet. Armed with his new tool and his natural gift for going unseen, Tsutsuji must defend the girl he loves against an otherworldly infestation hiding in plain sight.
