Love's Reach

Yuni Kurugi is a brilliant student who effortlessly earns perfect scores in every subject—except English. When her regular homeroom teacher goes on maternity leave, a substitute named Haruka Sakurai steps in to take over the class. While Yuni cannot deny that the new teacher is remarkably handsome, she absolutely despises his flashy and ostentatious demeanor. Her strong personal distaste for him quickly translates into academic disaster, causing her once-stellar English grades to plummet dramatically. To address her sudden decline in performance, Yuni is required to attend after-school supplementary lessons directly with Sakurai. Forced into close proximity with the very teacher she resents, she reluctantly spends her extra time studying under his guidance. However, these private sessions reveal an unexpected dimension to his character. Away from the crowded classroom and his usual flamboyant facade, Yuni begins to uncover a surprisingly gentle side to Sakurai. As her perception of him slowly shifts during their tutoring sessions, the strict boundary between student and substitute teacher begins to blur, setting the stage for a complicated and evolving connection.
