Portrait of M & N

Mitsuru is widely admired for her beauty and grace, yet she harbors a deeply embarrassing secret. Beneath her elegant exterior lies a severe masochistic streak—earning her the moniker "M"—where even a single act of physical aggression can leave her sweetly begging for more. Her carefully maintained facade shatters on the very first day of senior high school when a fellow student named Natsuhiko accidentally discovers her unusual condition. However, Natsuhiko is hardly in a position to judge. He struggles with an equally overwhelming affliction: extreme narcissism. Known as "N," he is so captivated by his own appearance that merely catching a glimpse of his reflection sends him into raptures over his own beauty. Bound together by their bizarre and socially ruinous quirks, Mitsuru and Natsuhiko form an unlikely alliance. Both are desperate to keep their true natures hidden from their classmates, knowing that exposure would mean absolute humiliation. As they navigate the challenges of high school life, they must rely on each other to suppress their uncontrollable impulses and protect the fragile secrets that define them.
