Takeda is the epitome of a model student—dudish, intensely focused, and fiercely serious. However, his structured academic life is thrown into complete disarray when he receives an unexpected, passionate love confession from his ultimate rival, Fukamachi. Blessed with striking good looks, superior intellect, and natural athletic prowess, Fukamachi is the school's quintessential frivolous elite. Having always viewed his rival with deep hostility, Takeda goes to great lengths to firmly and repeatedly reject Fukamachi's relentless romantic pursuits. The dynamic shifts dramatically one evening when Takeda finds himself roped into assisting Fukamachi, who is helping his private detective brother track down a missing cat. As they navigate the search, Takeda catches a glimpse of a completely unexpected side to the peer he always believed was entirely incompatible with his own personality. This unexpected encounter sets the stage for a turbulent, bumpy high school romance. It is a clash of opposites between a carefree, undeniably handsome natural genius and a straightlaced, uncompromising model student who discover that despite not getting along, they may just share an unpredictable path forward.
