Kouta Nitake is an ordinary high school boy who considers himself far from popular. His life takes a surreal turn when he suddenly begins hearing a voice declare, "Today, I’ll confess to Kou-chan!" The voice belongs to none other than Ayano Yumemigasaki, his childhood friend who is notoriously cold and sharp-tempered toward him. Until this moment, Kouta had no idea that Ayano harbored romantic feelings for him, let alone that she secretly longed for him to simply talk to her more. As Kouta suddenly becomes entirely aware of Ayano’s deeply hidden, unrequited affection through her inner monologue, the dynamic between the two shifts dramatically. However, he soon discovers that tuning into her innermost thoughts comes with an unexpected and unpredictable twist. Now forced to navigate this newfound insight into her true feelings, Kouta must deal with the complications arising from this strange new power while confronting the adorable reality of his fiercely guarded childhood friend's secret crush.
