Come to Hand

Exhausted from the relentless pressures of his profession, overworked schoolteacher Miharu collapses onto the treacherous, ice-covered streets. Fortunately, Arashi, a local tattoo artist, happens to pass by and rescues him from the freezing elements. However, because this is Miharu's first time encountering such extensive body art up close, his overwhelming surprise leads him to make several unintentional, insensitive remarks. Determined to make amends for his thoughtless words, Miharu visits Arashi’s parlor to offer a sincere apology. During this visit, he discovers the genuine warmth and kindness beneath the artist's striking exterior. Finding unexpected comfort in conversing with someone his own age, Miharu begins to let his guard down; yet, an underlying sense of unease lingers, leaving him with the lingering feeling that something is not quite right.
