A Serenade for Pretend Lovers

Sayo’s life takes a devastating turn when she walks in on her boyfriend cheating on her right at her workplace. To make matters worse at her job, her boss immediately assigns her to a high-pressure close-coverage program. Her primary assignment is to shadow the brilliant yet aloof composer, Kobuchi Chizuru. Unfortunately, Chizuru outright rejects her presence from the very beginning, making her daunting task seem utterly impossible. Just as the program threatens to fall apart, Chizuru proposes an unexpected compromise: he will agree to participate in the coverage only if Sayo enters into a fake romantic relationship with him as his contract lover. This unusual arrangement thrusts the notoriously unlucky Sayo into a whirlwind dynamic with an eccentric musical genius who claims he knows nothing about love. Together, they navigate a high-stakes, heart-racing lovers' contract that blurs the line between pretense and reality.
