Niwa ni wa Ninin

Niwa ni wa Ninin is a surreal anthology of interconnected oneshots unified by the recurring motif of gardens. Each standalone story explores strange, dreamlike scenarios where ordinary settings give way to the extraordinary. In "Mansion Aquarium," a sickly boy finds himself thrust into a deeply unusual situation that defies explanation. "Eureka Garden" follows a young girl with a vivid imagination who becomes completely enchanted by a mysterious garden, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. Meanwhile, "The Garden of Me" takes a more grounded yet unsettling turn as a young wife struggles to cope with the mounting pressures of a troubled marriage. The collection continues to unravel unexpected encounters in its remaining tales. "Two Guys in a Garden" centers on a student who visits his professor’s house, only to discover that the experience offers far more than he ever bargained for. Finally, "A Gardener’s Day Off" chronicles a man whose rare day away from work leads to a peculiar and unforgettable encounter. Together, these five distinct narratives weave a cohesive tapestry of surrealism, using the quiet backdrop of gardens to frame stories of isolation, wonder, and the bizarre nature of human experience.
