Nibun no Ichi Boyfriend

Soujirou lives with a highly unusual condition: whenever his heart races, his body physically transforms into the opposite sex. This unpredictable ability makes everyday life incredibly complicated, but things become even more chaotic when romance enters the picture. His girlfriend, Ichijou Sakura, is an elite young woman of high standing who unexpectedly discovers that she shares this exact same extraordinary trait. With both partners prone to sudden, emotion-triggered transformations, their relationship quickly spirals into a whirlwind of shifting identities. A simple date can effortlessly change dynamics in the blink of an eye, leaving them constantly navigating between male and female forms depending on whose heart happens to flutter first. The sheer unpredictability of their physical states turns every romantic encounter into a wild, uncontrollable situation. This bizarre predicament raises a humorous question about the true nature of their bond. As they shift back and forth, it becomes nearly impossible to categorize their relationship as a traditional heterosexual romance, a girls' love story, or a boys' love tale. Nibun no Ichi Boyfriend is a lively romantic comedy that playfully explores the boundaries of gender and affection through two lovers who never quite know which version of themselves—or each other—they will be by the end of the day.
