Name of love

Following a casual reunion with former high school classmates, Kouhei finds himself taking responsibility for Tetsu, who has had far too much to drink. What begins as a simple, considerate gesture—escorting an intoxicated old friend safely back home—quickly shifts into unexpected territory. The familiar boundaries between them dissolve during the walk, leading to an intimate encounter that neither of them could have anticipated when the evening began. In the quiet aftermath of that night, both men are forced to grapple with the profound implications of what transpired between them. The sudden shift in their dynamic compels Kouhei and Tetsu to confront lingering emotional baggage, navigating not only their own personal histories but also the complicated shared memories that have quietly shaped their relationship since their school days. As they attempt to understand this new reality, they must decide whether to retreat into the safety of the past or embrace the vulnerability of their present connection. Crafted by acclaimed creator Miyamoto Kano, Name of Love is a compelling three-part narrative exploring the delicate intersections of memory, friendship, and desire. This evocative story was originally serialized in Drap magazine.
