Hoshi wo Tsugu Mono

During a routine investigation on the Moon, researchers make an astonishing and unsettling discovery: the remains of a human figure clad in a striking red spacesuit. However, the true shock lies not in the find itself, but in its age. Scientific analysis reveals that the corpse has been dead for approximately fifty thousand years. This impossible timeline immediately raises profound questions about the origins of modern humanity and challenges everything previously understood about human history. Who was this ancient astronaut, and how did they arrive on the lunar surface tens of thousands of years before recorded civilization? As investigators struggle to unravel the mystery of the lunar body, the scope of the enigma expands dramatically. Sometime later, an alien spacecraft is discovered orbiting Jupiter. Closer examination confirms that the vessel's technology and construction are entirely foreign, bearing no resemblance to anything ever manufactured on Earth. Together, these two extraordinary findings—a prehistoric human on the Moon and an extraterrestrial ship near Jupiter—force humanity to confront a deeply complex puzzle regarding its own past and its place in the cosmos. This manga serves as a faithful adaptation of James P. Hogan’s acclaimed science fiction classic, *Inherit the Stars*.
