No Outtakes

To the outside world, Jae-Rin appears to be a typical college student, but behind closed doors, she is an obsessive shut-in entirely consumed by her love for Hwi, the male lead of the hit historical drama "Hwaya." Hoping to break her out of her isolation, her sister stages a family intervention and convinces her to take a job as a television extra. However, Jae-Rin soon realizes the production she has joined is none other than "Hwaya" itself. Overwhelmed by excitement, her clumsy movements repeatedly ruin the filming takes, prompting her to wander away from the set. There, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Ahn, the actor who portrays her beloved Hwi. While Jae-Rin adores the fictional character, she holds nothing but disdain for the arrogant, egotistical star playing him. Their tense encounter is abruptly interrupted when a near-fatal accident inexplicably transports them both directly into the world of the drama. Suddenly, the fictional setting becomes their harsh reality. Trapped inside the story, Jae-Rin is forced to step into the role of Hwaya, the legendary dragon maiden destined to save her nation from ruin. She must flawlessly deliver her lines and embody the heroine without the safety net of retakes. To survive and s쳮d in this unforgiving world where there are no outtakes, she will have to find a way to tolerate Ahn and bring the drama to its perfect conclusion.
