BAKUEN

BAKUEN unfolds in a world where the familiar rhythms of everyday life have abruptly collapsed into ruin. Society as it once existed has crumbled away entirely, leaving behind a desolate landscape stripped of hope and order. Amidst this devastation, a young girl finds herself utterly alone, resigned to her fate and quietly awaiting death in a place where survival seems nothing more than a fading memory. Yet, just as the silence of the wasteland threatens to consume her completely, an impossible event shatters the stillness. From the vast, empty expanse of the sky above, a lone young man suddenly descends. His unexpected arrival disrupts the bleak certainty of the ruined world, introducing a profound mystery into the girl's final moments. This striking encounter sets the stage for a story born from total destruction, where the sudden appearance of a single figure against a hollow sky may alter the course of everything that remains.
