Her ordinary life is abruptly shattered when a massive explosion erupts around her, engulfing her in flames. Instead of meeting her end, Sumire finds herself transported to an unfamiliar realm, standing face-to-face with a strikingly handsome man possessing silver hair and piercing purple eyes. She soon discovers that this enigmatic figure may be the former emperor of Gladitoria, a ruler known for his cruelty. Adding to the surreal nature of her new reality, she is attended by a mysterious, sentient ivy that serves the emperor. Thrust into a harsh era defined by his unforgiving reign, Sumire must navigate a world far removed from the quiet isolation of her past. Yet, beneath the shadows of a ruthless history, an unexpected bond begins to form between the displaced girl and the silver-haired sovereign. What unfolds is a tender romance set against the backdrop of a gentle fantasy world, where two lost souls find solace in one another despite the turbulent legacy that surrounds them.
