The Northern Duke Needs a Warm Hug

Nisha, a gifted imperial wizard, strikes an unconventional bargain with King Frei that sends her on a perilous journey to the frozen north. Her mission is to break the curse afflicting Lanfel Delore, the imposing Grand Duke of the North. Yet beneath his dark, handsome exterior and commanding presence, Lanfel harbors a fragile constitution. The bitter, endless gray days of winter take a severe toll on his weakened body, leaving him far more vulnerable than anyone suspects. Settling into the Duke’s sprawling manor, Nisha dedicates herself to researching the origins of his affliction. However, her work quickly extends beyond arcane study as she finds herself acting as his personal caretaker, tending to the very man she was sent to heal. As the harsh northern cold closes in around them, the boundaries between duty and devotion begin to blur. Unbeknownst to Nisha, the agreement she forged with King Frei holds deeper implications than she ever anticipated, threatening to bind her and Duke Lanfel together in ways neither could have foreseen.
