Akari to Kare wa Nayamashii

Akari is an openly gay high school student who suddenly finds himself grappling with unexpected emotions when his two straight male friends begin dating each other. He cannot quite decipher the nature of his displeasure—whether it stems from envy, jealousy, or something else entirely. Frustrated by his own confusion, he resolves to take control of his romantic life and sets out to find someone to love. Determined to make a connection, Akari eagerly visits a local gay bar in search of a partner. However, instead of the ideal romance he envisioned, he encounters an irritating older man who challenges him with sharp logic and undeniable reasoning. This unforeseen meeting forces the young student to confront his assumptions about relationships and attraction, setting the stage for a complicated dynamic that neither of them anticipated.
