A solitary woman wanders along the base of Mount Sengoku, only to be approached by a mysterious man who claims he has been expecting her arrival. He guides her toward a nearby village, leading her into a setting unlike anything she could have imagined. The entire settlement is blanketed in delicate, hair-like fibers of volcanic glass, all gleaming with an intense, radiant gold that gives the landscape an otherworldly beauty. As night falls over this strange community, the villagers gather to observe their customary ritual of gazing up at the starry sky. However, the tranquil stargazing quickly descends into chaos when countless unidentified flying objects suddenly plummet from the heavens, raining down upon them. This terrifying celestial event serves as merely the opening act for a far greater horror about to unfold, plunging the woman and the golden village into an inescapable nightmare.
