Tales of Zestiria

Ancient lore speaks of the Seraphim, a race of divine beings whose invisible presence shapes the world. Those rare individuals capable of communicating with them are revered as Shepherds. The purest among these Shepherds can even channel the Seraphim's extraordinary power, though such strength inspires both worship and terror—hailed as living saints by some, yet condemned as demons by others. Sorey is a young human raised entirely within the Divine Forest, a sacred sanctuary where he lives peacefully alongside numerous Seraphim. Fascinated by the myths recorded in an ancient tome, he spends his days exploring nearby ruins with his Seraphim childhood companion, Mikleo, hoping to uncover the forgotten history of their kind. Their quiet existence shatters when a sudden cave-in traps Sorey and Mikleo alongside Alisha, a young knight investigating a string of catastrophic natural disasters ravaging the outside world. Upon realizing that the Seraphim might be connected to these devastating events, Sorey makes a life-altering decision. Leaving behind the only home he has ever known, he sets out alongside Alisha into the wider world, determined to uncover the truth and fulfill his destiny as a Shepherd.
