Ashiato

Ashiato is a one-shot that explores the fragile beauty of young love and the quiet devastation of its unraveling. It begins with two people navigating the early, uncertain stages of their relationship. Their steps together were clumsy and unsteady, yet they poured everything they had into loving one another with fierce sincerity. Every shared moment felt like a precious secret kept only between them, punctuated by shy giggles and tender exchanges. Looking back, those days form a vivid mosaic of warmth—a time when their bond felt effortless despite its imperfections, built on genuine passion and the simple joy of being near each other. However, the delicate foundation they built could not withstand the weight of conflict. A bitter quarrel shatters their closeness, introducing an invisible distance that neither knows how to bridge. What was once a shared sanctuary slowly dissolves as their hearts begin to drift apart, pulled in opposite directions by unresolved hurt. The story captures the painful transition from intimate connection to emotional estrangement, reflecting on how easily love can slip away when words turn sharp. Ultimately, Ashiato is a poignant meditation on memory, loss, and the lingering echoes of a romance that burned brightly before fading into silence.
