To escape a catastrophic asteroid collision destined to destroy Earth, a young girl named Chica is placed into suspended animation inside an escape pod. When she finally awakens, she discovers that countless years have passed. She remains on Earth, but the planet has transformed into an unrecognizable landscape populated by bizarre creatures, including fish that soar through the skies. Chica now resides within a protective dome, tended to by her mechanical caretakers: a guardian android named Roy and a maid android called Silvia. During her time in this new era, she also crosses paths with Oboro, a mysterious yet amiable man possessing feline ears. To these futuristic inhabitants, Chica is a living marvel—an original human from a forgotten age—and they are endlessly fascinated by her existence. However, their curiosity often blinds them to the fragile biological limitations of her species, leading to situations where they inadvertently overlook what it means to be human. Surrounded by beings who view her as both a precious relic and an anomaly, Chica must navigate the complexities of a world that has evolved far beyond her understanding. In this strange and wondrous future, she faces the ultimate challenge of carving out a place for herself among those who can scarcely comprehend her humanity.
