She urges him to join the school’s Classics Club, an organization she once cherished that now faces dissolution due to a complete lack of members. Reluctantly agreeing to save the club, Houtarou arrives only to discover he is not the sole new recruit. Waiting for him is Eru Chitanda, a striking girl with large eyes and an insatiable curiosity that quickly upends his quiet existence. When an intriguing mystery captures Eru's attention, it inevitably pulls Houtarou into its orbit, soon joined by his close friend Satoshi Fukube. As the trio begins unraveling everyday enigmas together, their circle expands to include Mayaka Ibara, another mutual friend who has harbored an unrequited crush on Satoshi since middle school—a devotion he consistently deflects.
