Slayers Light Magic

In a distant future defined by technological supremacy, humanity has long abandoned the arcane arts. Magic is now nothing more than a forgotten relic, surviving only in children’s nursery rhymes and ancient fairy tales. Amidst this highly advanced society lives Light Inverse, a young man who harbors an unusual fascination with sorcery—a passion considered entirely obsolete in his era. His quiet life is violently disrupted when his home comes under siege by mazoku. The monstrous invaders prove completely immune to modern weaponry, rendering humanity's greatest technological achievements useless and plunging Light’s world into sudden despair. Just as all hope seems lost, an extraordinary event shifts the tide of battle. Through a mysterious shrine connected to their own era, the legendary sorceress Lina Inverse and her companion Gourry Gabriev are abruptly transported across time into this futuristic landscape. Their unexpected arrival introduces raw magical power to a civilization that has long since forgotten it. As these iconic heroes confront the demonic threat alongside Light, a pressing question emerges: can Lina successfully reawaken the dormant forces of magic in a land that has outgrown them?
