Bijutsukei Danshi

During his third year of junior high school, Ichi attends a local art exhibition hosted by a prestigious high school's art club. The experience leaves him utterly captivated. Deeply moved by the incredible talent on display, he resolves to study at that very institution so he can hone his skills alongside such inspiring artists. Through relentless effort and unwavering dedication, Ichi successfully passes the entrance exams and earns his place at the school, eagerly anticipating a refined and creatively fulfilling environment. However, the reality of the high school art club shatters his idyllic expectations almost immediately. Instead of the poised, awe-inspiring masters he envisioned, Ichi discovers that the members are actually a chaotic assembly of eccentric, irresponsible, and mischievous young men overflowing with unruly energy. Far from a serene sanctuary for artistic growth, the clubroom is dominated by testosterone-fueled antics and unpredictable behavior. Now, Ichi must navigate this wild and unrefined world, struggling to reconcile his lofty artistic dreams with the outrageous daily reality of his new peers.
