Kaijoshi Kanna no Memoir

A century ago, a lone magician emerged and gifted humanity with the power of magic, forever transforming civilization. While this newfound force brought unprecedented prosperity to the world, it also carried a heavy cost for some. Among those left scarred is a young girl named Haru, whose family was ruined by the very miracles society now celebrates. Consumed by resentment toward the magic that destroyed her life, she navigates a world that reveres the very thing she despises. Her path crosses with Kanna, a feared outcast known as a Dispeller—an individual possessing the rare ability to unravel and nullify magic itself. In an era where magical prowess represents human progress, Kanna’s power makes her a target of widespread hatred, branded a heretic by the masses. Yet, for Haru, this encounter becomes a turning point. Together, they set into motion a reckoning against the corrupt and greedy magicians who have long hidden behind their elevated status. As buried secrets begin to surface, their alliance threatens to dismantle the foundations of a deeply flawed society in this sweeping epic fantasy that exposes the dark truths concealed beneath a magical utopia.
