I Swear I Really Like You

What exactly am I to you? A boyfriend, a mere plaything, a hostage, or simply a witness to your chaotic life? These are the questions that plague me ever since you intervened to save my life, only to walk away as if nothing had happened. Yet, the distance didn’t last long. You unexpectedly transferred to my school and casually announced to everyone that we have known each other for years, dragging me into a web of confusion and unwanted attention. Now, I am left trying to decipher your true intentions while navigating the bizarre reality you have forced upon me. Beyond the tangled social dynamics at school, far more dangerous mysteries surround you. Why do you constantly carry a firearm, and who are these relentless foreigners who seem determined to hunt me down? Every day spent by your side feels like walking through a minefield, blurring the lines between protection and peril. Caught in the crosshairs of threats I never asked for, I am left with one desperate, lingering question: will I even survive being near you?
