Himawari wa Yoru ni Saku

Norihito and Asumi Hisato share a deeply loving and seemingly perfect marriage. Their peaceful life is abruptly shattered when Norihito commits a catastrophic error at his workplace, resulting in devastating financial losses amounting to millions for his employer. Faced with the gravity of his mistake, Norihito is cornered into a desperate situation where he must find a way to take full responsibility for the damage he has caused. Rather than simply terminating him, the company's president presents a severe and unconventional ultimatum. To settle the massive debt and make amends for her husband's failure, Asumi is demanded to step into the role of the president's personal secretary. This arrangement is framed as the only viable path for the couple to repay what they owe, forcing Asumi into an uncomfortable professional environment under the direct authority of the man who holds their future in his hands. From that moment forward, the dynamic between Asumi and the president shifts into something far more complicated. Bound by the heavy weight of her husband's professional ruin, she finds herself compelled to express her gratitude for this opportunity to make restitution. Ultimately, she begins thanking the president in the only way she knows how, setting the stage for a dark and emotionally fraught narrative.
