"I love you, that's why I will eat you, yes." With these unsettling yet earnest words, a mysterious girl named Kagen descends from the moon and appears directly before Ano Taiyou. Identifying herself as a member of the moon-dwelling *tsuki-jin* species, Kagen wastes no time in revealing the true motive behind her long-awaited reunion with her first love, Taiyou. Far from a conventional romantic overture, her affection is driven by a powerful, instinctual urge: she has come to prey upon him. So begins an unusual and high-stakes romantic comedy that blends everyday slice-of-life interactions with a chilling impending deadline. As Taiyou tries to navigate this bizarre new reality, he finds himself bound to a celestial stalker whose intense devotion is literally consuming. Trapped in a countdown against his own fate, Taiyou must contend with Kagen's relentless predatory nature while grappling with the surreal reality of a romance where the ultimate expression of love is, quite literally, being devoured.
