Somewhere in Time

Meet Shen Jun, the charismatic lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Triumph of William, whose effortless cool is immediately undercut by an awkward misstep right at the start of his journey. Living just nearby is Yu Zhixing, an obscure and struggling painter who harbors a quiet, intense obsession with his famous neighbor. Despite living steps apart, Yu Zhixing finds himself entirely consumed by thoughts of Shen Jun, yet paralyzed by the fear of interaction, leaving him with seemingly no way to bridge the gap between their vastly different worlds. Just as Yu Zhixing exhausts every possible scenario to engineer a chance meeting, fate unexpectedly intervenes right at his doorstep. To his astonishment, Shen Jun’s cat suddenly appears outside his door, presenting the painter with the ultimate, accidental excuse he has been waiting for. Armed with this furry catalyst, Yu Zhixing finally seizes the opportunity to break the ice, setting off an unpredictable chain of events that will entangle their lives in ways neither of them expected.
