Ooedo!! Un-pluged

Transported by a mysterious magical phenomenon during a torrential rainstorm, high school student Kurebayashi Aki finds herself abruptly thrust backward in time to the historical Edo period. Seeking shelter in a local temple wearing her modern school uniform, her unusual and unfamiliar attire instantly startles the inhabitants. Mistaking her unconventional garments for divine raiment, the temple residents become convinced that Aki is a heavenly angel sent down from the skies to deliver them from their troubles. Though she is merely an ordinary modern teenager completely out of her element, Aki quickly realizes the gravity of their reverence. Trapped in a past era with no immediate way back, she resolves to make the best of her bewildering situation by lending a helping hand to anyone in need. As she navigates the daily struggles of feudal life, Aki embarks on a dual mission: assisting the people around her while relentlessly searching for a way to shatter the barriers of time and return to the twenty-first century.
