Kono Koi ni Mirai wa nai

Yuuji Manase is a university student whose quiet, taciturn, and withdrawn demeanor strangely does little to deter his natural appeal, leaving him quite popular among the women around him. Despite the outward appearance of an effortless social life, Yuuji harbors a profound and deeply personal internal struggle. He carries a hidden wound, wrestling with an acute sense of alienation and the persistent realization that he simply does not feel at ease within the confines of a male body. This carefully guarded secret is brought to the surface during a visit from his sister, who works as a hairdresser. As family dynamics intersect with his unspoken turmoil, the fragile boundaries Yuuji has established begin to shift. The narrative delves into his complex emotional landscape, capturing the poignant tension of living a life at odds with one's own physical identity and the tentative steps toward confronting an uncertain truth.
