Kyomu Senki is composed primarily of four interconnected series: "The Tiger of 5000 Light Years," serialized from 1980 to 1982; "Kyomu Senshi Miroku" and "Jaki-oh Bakuretsu," both launched within months of each other in 1987; and "Skull Killer Jaki-oh," a twentieth-century mecha narrative that began serialization in 1990. Complementing these four main storylines is a collection of four short stories that further expand the universe.
