Clover no Kuni no Alice: Kuroi Tokage to Nigai Aji

Set within the world of Clover Country, this manga adaptation of the popular otome game centers on the complex and compelling romance between Alice and Gray Ringmarc, the stoic aide to the Incubus. Known by his moniker "the Lizard," Gray is a man defined by his past as a highly capable assassin. Over time, he has transformed into a grounded, sensible, and mature adult, carrying himself with a quiet composure that sets him apart from the eccentric inhabitants of this strange land. Despite her undeniable attraction to him, Alice finds herself deeply insecure in his presence. She views herself as nothing more than a child standing beside a fully grown man, convinced that their differences make them fundamentally incompatible. This internal conflict forms the emotional core of the story, as Alice struggles to reconcile her growing feelings with her persistent belief that she does not belong at his side. The narrative explores the bittersweet tension of their dynamic, delving into themes of self-worth, maturity, and the daunting prospect of loving someone who seems entirely out of reach.
