Collectors

Created by Nishi Uko, Collectors is a manga that explores the everyday complexities of a romantic relationship between two women whose contrasting financial habits become a persistent source of friction. While the couple shares a deep bond, their differing approaches to money and material possessions frequently put them at odds, turning what should be a harmonious partnership into a delicate balancing act of compromise and frustration. At the heart of the story lies a relatable domestic conflict: each partner strongly disapproves of how the other chooses to spend her money. Their opposing views on budgeting, saving, and indulging in personal purchases create a recurring tension that tests both their patience and their affection for one another. Through these lighthearted yet grounded disagreements, the narrative examines how even the smallest lifestyle differences can challenge a relationship, requiring open communication and mutual understanding to navigate successfully.
