Register!

Is there an age too young to fall in love, or a time when one is simply too old? Who truly dictates the boundaries of youth—the precise moment its vibrant days begin and inevitably fade? These lingering questions form the emotional core of Register!, a story that explores the unpredictable nature of human connection and the timeless uncertainty of romance. Set against the quiet backdrop of eastern Tokyo, the narrative unfolds in a modest supermarket located in a town resting exactly at sea level. It is here, within the ordinary rhythm of daily commerce, that two individuals find their lives unexpectedly intertwined. Their meeting takes place across the cashier's counter—a fleeting, chance encounter that carries the weight of something far more profound than a simple transaction. Through this unassuming setting, the manga delves into the delicate transition between youth and adulthood, examining how love can emerge in the most commonplace environments. What begins as a brief exchange between strangers holds the potential to challenge everything they believe about timing, maturity, and the invisible lines society draws around the heart.
