Tsugou no Ii Hate

For Toruko, an ordinary housewife living an ostensibly peaceful life, her world shatters the day she discovers her husband Wataru is unfaithful. Consumed by emotional isolation and a deep sense of betrayal, she seeks to quench her own inner thirst and reclaim a sense of agency by making a daring choice: she calls a male escort for the very first time. Enter Shoji, the young man who answers the call. What begins as a desperate impulse quickly spirals into something much deeper, as Toruko finds herself sliding into a powerful addiction to their clandestine relationship. In Shoji’s company, she temporarily escapes the bitter reality of her marriage, losing herself in an idealized fantasy world of intimacy and affection. Yet, this dreamy respite cannot last forever. As the boundaries between reality and illusion begin to blur, Toruko is forced to confront the harsh consequences of her actions. Her fragile escape ultimately leads her toward a complicated reckoning, testing the limits of her desires and the true cost of seeking solace in forbidden places.
