Otaku ni Otoku na Gal Gurashi

Yutaka Kongouji was born into immense privilege as the heir to a wealthy family, yet his true passions lie far from high society. A quiet introvert and devoted otaku, he dedicates his entire existence—and every yen of his generous allowance—to supporting his favorite idol. For Yutaka, this sheltered lifestyle is perfect, allowing him to avoid the outside world while indulging in his singular obsession. However, his comfortable reality shatters when his parents' business suddenly collapses. Stripped of his fortune and forced into independence for the first time, Yutaka must relocate to a dilapidated apartment building to fend for himself. The transition from luxury to squalor is jarring, leaving the former rich boy completely unprepared for the harsh realities of everyday life on a tight budget. Just as he attempts to navigate this unfamiliar, rundown environment, an unexpected encounter turns his world upside down once more. Yutaka crosses paths with Rino Hinata, a popular and fashionable gal from his school class. Thrust together by circumstance, the reclusive otaku and the outgoing socialite find their vastly different worlds colliding in ways neither could have anticipated.
