Zhi Feiji

In the vast and silent expanse of space, Colonial Operator ROCO143—known to those around her as Jolie—carries out her duties among the stars. Her routine existence in the cosmos takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a seemingly impossible sight: a delicate paper airplane drifting weightlessly through the void. This surreal discovery introduces a quiet yet profound moment into her life as an operator far from home, bridging the immense emptiness of the universe with something intimately familiar. The story unfolds as a poignant exploration of wonder and purpose against the backdrop of deep space. Rather than relying on grand conflicts or battles, the narrative draws its emotional strength from this singular, evocative encounter. The paper airplane serves as a powerful symbol throughout the comic, representing humanity’s enduring dreams, boundless aspirations, and collective visions of the universe. It stands as a fragile but resilient emblem of hope traveling through the infinite dark. Through Jolie’s perspective, readers are invited to reflect on the connection between human ambition and the mysteries of the cosmos. The manhua crafts a beautifully contemplative experience, transforming a simple object into a profound metaphor for mankind's relentless desire to reach beyond the stars and leave a lasting mark upon the universe.
